AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, by repealing Sections 114-1343, 114-2034, 114-2073, 114-2076, 114-2198, 114-2279, 114-2318, 114-2320, 114-2677 and 114-3891, thereof and enacting new Sections 114-1343, 114-2034, 114-2073, 114-2076, 114-2198, 114-2279, 114-2318, 114-2677 and 114-3891, relating to traffic and vehicles.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, is hereby amended by repealing Sections 114-1343, 114-2034, 114-2073, 114-2076, 114-2198, 114-2279, 114-2318, 114-2320, 114-2677 and 114-3891, thereof and enacting new Sections 114-1343, 114-2034, 114-2073, 114-2076, 114-2198, 114-2279, 114-2318, 114-2677 and 114-3891, relating to traffic and vehicles, as follows:
Sec. 114-1343. Park Avenue.
Park Avenue, from South Union Street to Southwest Fourteenth Street, 30 miles per hour.
Park Avenue, from Southwest Fourteenth Street to Fleur Drive, 35 miles per hour.
Park Avenue, from Fleur Drive to Valley Drive, 30 miles per hour.
Park Avenue, from Valley Drive to Southwest Sixty-third Street, 35 miles per hour.
Sec. 114-2034. East Fifteenth Street.
East Fifteenth Street, at Richmond Avenue, stop.
East Fifteenth Street, at Garfield Avenue, stop.
East Fifteenth Street, from the south line of Dean Avenue to the north line of Maple Street, stop.
Sec. 114-2073. Southeast Twenty-seventh Street.

Eighth Street, on the west side, from Walnut Street to a point 50 feet north thereof, commercial loading zone.
Eighth Street, on the west side, from a point 90 feet south of Locust Street to a point 55 feet south thereof, commercial loading zone.
Eighth Street, on the west side, from Walnut Street to Locust Street, no parking 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Eighth Street, on the west side, from Walnut Street to Locust Street, no parking 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sec. 114-3891. Eighth Street--Mulberry Street to Walnut Street.
Eighth Street, on the east side, from Mulberry Street to a point 60 feet south of Walnut Street, two-hour meters, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Eighth Street, on the east side, from Walnut Street to a point 110 feet north thereof, two-hour meters 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Eighth Street, on the west side, from a point 145 feet north of Mulberry Street to Walnut Street, two-hour meters, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Eighth Street, on the west side, parking meter 8-210, two-hour meter, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibition as is found in subsection 114-616(a) of this chapter.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
