ORDINANCE NO. 13,995
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 3009 East Payton Avenue from the "A-1" Agricultural District and "R1-80" One Family Residential District to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 3009 East Payton Avenue, more fully described as follows:
The Southwest fractional ¼ of the Southwest ¼ of Section 30, Township 78 North, Range 23 West of the 5th P.M., City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, more specifically described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Southwest fractional ¼ of Southwest ¼; thence South 870 (Degrees) 23’ (Minutes) 13" (Seconds) East, 1224.68 feet to the Northeast corner of said Southwest fractional ¼ of Southwest ¼; thence South 00 01’ 06" West , 1321.43 feet to the Southeast corner of said Southwest fractional ¼ of Southwest ¼; thence North 870 23’ 44" West, 1229.90 feet to the Southwest corner of said Section 30; thence North 00 15’ 58" East, 1321.37 feet to the Point of Beginning and continuing 37.2 Acres (1,620,556 S.F.) more or less.
from the "A-1" Agricultural District and "R1-80" One Family Residential District to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the later of its passage and publication as provided by law.
Sec. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of this ordinance and proof of publication thereof to be properly filed in the office of the Recorder of Polk County, Iowa.
