ORDINANCE NO. 14,000
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, by repealing Sections 114-2711, 114-3022, 114-3236 and 114-3353 thereof and enacting new Sections 114-2711, 114-3022, 114-3236 and 114-3353, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, is hereby amended by repealing Sections 114-2711, 114-3022, 114-3236 and 114-3353 thereof and enacting new Sections 114-2711, 114-3022, 114-3236 and 114-3353, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations, as follows:
Sec. 114-2711. Southwest Tenth Street--Vine Street to County Line Road.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the east side, from Boulder Avenue to a point 50 feet south thereof, no parking any time. Southwest Tenth Street, on the east side, from Carrie Avenue to Emma Avenue, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the east side, from McKinley Avenue to Hackley Avenue, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the west side, from Frazier Avenue to Kenyon Avenue, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the east side, from Leland Avenue to Wade Street, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the west side, from a point 50 feet north of Army Post Road to a point 50 feet south of Army Post Road, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the west side, from West Street to a point 100 feet south thereof, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the west side, from Geil Avenue to a point 50 feet south thereof, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the west side, from Rittenhouse Street to Johnson Street, no parking any time.
Southwest Tenth Street, on the west side, from Southdale Drive to County Line Road, no parking any time.
Sec. 114-3022. Boulder Avenue--Dead end east of Southwest Seventh Street to Southwest Tenth Street.
Boulder Avenue, on the north side, from Southwest Seventh Street to Southwest Ninth Street, no stopping or standing any time.
Boulder Avenue, on the south side, from Southwest Ninth Street to a point 770 feet east thereof, no parking any time.
Boulder Avenue, on the south side, from Southwest Ninth Street to a point 50 feet west thereof, no parking any time.
Boulder Avenue, on the north side, from Southwest Ninth Street to a point 530 feet west thereof, no parking any time.
Boulder Avenue, on the south side, from Southwest Tenth Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.
Sec. 114-3236. Gleaves Court--East Ovid Avenue to dead end south.
Gleaves Court, on the west side, from East Ovid Avenue to the cul-de-sac, no parking any time.
Gleaves Court, on the east side, from East Ovid Avenue to and including any part of the cul-de-sac, no parking 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday.
Sec. 114-3353. Jerlynn Avenue--North Union Street to dead end east of East Tenth Street.
Jerlynn Avenue, on the north side, from North Union Street to a point 320 feet east thereof, no parking any time.
Jerlynn Avenue, on the south side, from a point 630 feet west of East Tenth Street to a point 80 feet east of East Tenth Street, no parking any time.
Jerlynn Avenue, on the north side, from East Tenth Street to York Street, no parking any time.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
