ORDINANCE NO. 14,036

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 1620 Pleasant Street and 711 - 16th Street from the "R-HD" Residential Historic District to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 1620 Pleasant Street and 711 - 16th Street, more fully described as follows:

Lots 1, 2, 3 and 8 and the West 48.0 feet of the East 73.0 feet Lots 4 and 5, Boscobel Addition, an Official Plat; and Lots 18 through 21 and the South 11.0 feet Lot 17 and the vacated alley lying South of and adjoining Lot 18, Marshes Subdivision of Lot 2 Pursley Estate, an Official Plat, and all adjoining street right-of-ways extended to the centerline of street, and the entire intersection of the right-of-ways of Pleasant Street and 16^th Street, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the later of its passage and publication as provided by law.

Sec. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of this ordinance and proof of publication thereof to be properly filed in the office of the Recorder of Polk County, Iowa.
