ORDINANCE NO. 14,188

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 2425 Hubbell Avenue from the "R1-60" One Family Low Density Residential District, "C-1" Neighborhood Retail Commercial District and "M-1" Light Industrial District classifications to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 2425 Hubbell Avenue, more fully described as follows:

Lots 98 through 125 and all intervening vacated alley right-of-ways, Hubbell Avenue Addition, an Official Plat; and Lots 5 through 13, Salm’s Addition, an Official Plat; and Lots 1, 2, 3, 5 and Lots 7 through 10, Bayard Place, an Official Plat; and Lots 1 through 7 and Lots 9, 10, 11 and 13, Mc Clurc’s F.H. Orchard, an Official Plat; and all of vacated Dubuque Avenue right-of-way lying North of and adjoining Lots 9 through 13, of said Mc Clurc’s F.H. Orchard, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.

from the "R1-60" One Family Low Density Residential District, "C-1" Neighborhood Retail Commercial District and "M-1" Light Industrial District classifications to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the later of its passage and publication as provided by law.

Sec. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of the vicinity map, this ordinance, and proof of publication of this ordinance to be properly filed in the office of the Recorder of Polk County, Iowa.
