AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,997, passed September 24, 2001, by amending Sections 114-2040, 114-3045, 114-3609 and 114-3777, thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,997, passed September 24, 2001 is hereby amended by amending Sections 114-2040, 114-3045, 114-3609 and 114-3777, thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations, as follows:

East Seventeenth Street, from the north curbline of East Grand Avenue to the south curbline of Lyon Street, stop.

East Seventeenth Street, at Garfield Avenue, stop.

East Seventeenth Street, from the north line of East Washington Avenue to the south line of Guthrie Avenue, stop.

Capitol Avenue, on both sides, from East Fourteenth Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the north side, from a point 50 feet east of East Fourteenth Street to a point 50 feet west of East Fifteenth Street, two-hour parking, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Capitol Avenue, on the south side, from East Fifteenth Street to a point 50 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the north side, from a point 50 feet west of East Fifteenth Street to a point 50 feet east of East Fifteenth Street, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the south side, from East Fifteenth Street to a point 250 feet east thereof, passenger loading and unloading.

Capitol Avenue, on the south side, from a point 250 feet east of East Fifteenth Street to a point 150 feet east thereof, bus loading and unloading.

Capitol Avenue, on the south side, from a point 400 feet east of East Fifteenth Street to East Sixteenth Street, passenger loading and unloading.

Capitol Avenue, on both sides, from East Seventeenth Street to a point 50 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on both sides, from East Seventeenth Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the south side, from East Eighteenth Street to East Twenty-second Street, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the north side, from East Twentieth Street to a point 160 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the north side, from a point 175 feet west of East Twenty-first Street to a point 30 feet west thereof, is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibition as is found in section 114-616(a) of this Code.

Capitol Avenue, on the north side, from East Twenty-First Street to a point 70 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on both sides, from Twenty-third Street to Twenty-third Place, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the south side, from Twenty-fourth Street to a point 50 feet west of Twenty-eighth Street, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the north side, from Twenty-eighth Street to a point 310 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the north side, from Thirty-third Street to Thirty-ninth Street, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the south side, from a point 50 feet east of Thirty-fifth Street to a point 200 feet west of Thirty-fifth Street, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on both sides, from Thirty-ninth Street to Fortieth Street, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the south side, from Fortieth Place to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the north side, from Fortieth Street to Forty-first Street, no parking any time.

Rollins Avenue, on the north side, from Cummins Parkway to Sixty-second Place, no parking any time.

Wilmers Avenue, on the north side, from Southeast Third Street to Southeast Fifth Street, no parking any time.

Wilmers Avenue, on the south side, from Southeast Third Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

Wilmers Avenue, on the south side, from Southeast Fifth Street to a point 60 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
