AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,939 passed April 16, 2001, and Ordinance No. 14,192, passed December 18, 2002, and Ordinance No. 14,217, passed March 24, 2003, by amending Section 74-184 thereof, relating to fees at the Blank Park Zoo. 

 

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

    

     Section 1.  That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,939 passed April 16, 2001, and Ordinance No. 14,192, passed December 18, 2002, and Ordinance No. 14,217, passed March 24, 2003, is hereby amended by amending Section 74-184 thereof, relating to fees at the Blank Park Zoo, as follows: 

Sec. 74-184. Zoo.

 

            Fees for use of the city zoo shall be as follows:

            (1)           Admissions:

                                a.             Children (under three years)                                              Free

                                b.             Children (three to 14 years)                                                $4.95

                                c.             Adults (15 to 55 years)                                                        $6.95

                                d.             Senior citizens (56years and older)                                   $5.95      

(2)           Group rate (20 or more):

                                a.             Children (under three years)                                              Free

                                b.             Children (three to 14 years)                                                $ 4.00

                                c.             Adults (15 to 55 years)                                                        $ 6.00

                                d.             Senior citizens (56 years and older)                  $ 5.00

                (3)           School groups (all ages):

a.             Bus driver free, one free adult chaperone

                                                with each ten students                                                        $Free
