ORDINANCE NO. 14,381        

 

 

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,994, passed September 10, 2001, by amending Sections 114-2220, 114-2788 and 114-3125 thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations. 

 

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

    

     Section 1.  That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,994, passed September 10, 2001, is hereby amended by amending Sections 114-2220, 114-2788 and 114-3125 relating to traffic and vehicle regulations, as follows: 

 

Sec. 114-2220. Gray Street.

 

     Gray Street, at Courtland Drive, stop.

     Gray Street, at Southeast Third Street, stop.

 

Sec. 114-2788. Nineteenth Street‑‑Grand Avenue to Woodland Avenue.

 

     Nineteenth Street, on both sides, from Grand Avenue to the alley north of High Street, no parking any time.

     Nineteenth Street, on the west side, from the alley north of High Street to Woodland Avenue, no parking any time. 

     Nineteenth Street, on the east side, from Woodland Avenue to a point 25 feet south thereof, no parking any time. 

 

Sec. 114-3125. Creston Avenue‑‑Southwest Ninth Street to Southwest Sixty-third Street.

 

     Creston Avenue, on the north side, from Southwest Ninth Street to a point 50 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

     Creston Avenue, on the north side, from a point 50 feet west of Southwest Ninth Street to Southwest Fourteenth Street, no parking 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. school days.

     Creston Avenue, on the south side, from Southwest Ninth Street to Southwest Fourteenth Street, no parking any time.

     Creston Avenue, on the north side, from Southwest Twelfth Street to a point 65 feet west thereof, no parking any time. 

     Creston Avenue, on both sides, from Southwest Sixty-third Street east to and including the dead end cul-de-sac, no parking any time.

 

 

Sec. 2.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
