ORDINANCE NO. 14,470

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 1800 Euclid Avenue from the "M-1" Light Industrial District to the "C-1" Neighborhood Retail Commercial District classification.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 1800 Euclid Avenue, more fully described as follows, from the "M-1" Light Industrial District to the "C-1" Neighborhood Retail Commercial District classification:

The South 50 feet of the North 175 feet, and the East 5 feet of the South 100 feet of the North 125 feet, Lot 4, Flint Valley, an Official Plat;

AND, Lot 5, in said Flint Valley, except the North 25 feet thereof and except that portion of said Lot 5 located within the South 320 feet of the North 345 feet of the East 150 feet of Section 28, Township 79 North, Range 24 West of the 5^th P.M.;

AND a triangular shaped parcel in the northeast corner of Lot 7, in said Flint Valley, measuring 430 feet along the North line of said Lot 7 and measuring 105 feet along the East line of said Lot 7, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa .

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.

Sec. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of the vicinity map, this ordinance, and proof of publication of this ordinance, to be properly filed in the office of the Polk County Recorder.
