ORDINANCE NO. 14,478

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 2722 E. 16th Street and 2209 and 2911 E. 16th Street from the "R1-60" One-Family Low-Density Residential District to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 2722 E. 16th Street and 2209 and 2911 E. 16th Street , more fully described as follows:

2909 and 2911 E. 16th Street

Lots 5, 6 and 7, Lindquist Place Replat, an Official Plat, and the West 1/2 vacated North/South alley right-of-way lying East of and adjoining said Lots 5, 6 and 7 and a triangular piece beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 4, Lindquist Place Replat; thence East 27 feet along said South lot line; thence northwest to a point 1.5 feet North of said southwest corner; thence South 1.5 feet to the Point Of Beginning, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.

2722 E. 16th Street

Lot 14 and 15 Mechanics Addition, an Official Plat, and the East 1/2 vacated North/South alley right-of-way lying West of and adjoining said Lots 14 and 15, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.

from the "R1-60" One-Family Low-Density Residential District to the "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the later of its passage and publication as provided by law.

Sec. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of the vicinity map, this ordinance, and proof of publication of this ordinance to be properly filed in the office of the Polk County Recorder.
