AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and Ordinance No. 13,833, passed June 19, 2000, and Ordinance No. 14,057, passed February 18, 2002, and Ordinance No. 14,226, passed May 5, 2003, by amending Sections 114-3174, 114-3338, and 114-3654 thereof, relating to vehicle and regulations.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and Ordinance No. 13,833, passed June 19, 2000, and Ordinance No. 14,057, passed February 18, 2002, and Ordinance No. 14,226, passed May 5, 2003 is hereby amended by amending Sections 114-3174, 114-3338, and 114-3654 thereof, relating to vehicle and regulations, as follows:

Sec. 114-3174. East Edison Avenue--South Union Street to Southeast Sixteenth Street.

East Edison Avenue, on the north side, from a point 165 feet west of Southeast First Street to South Union Street, no parking any time.

East Edison Avenue, on the south side, from Southeast First Street to a point 85 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

East Edison Avenue, on the north side, from Southeast First Street to Southeast Fourth Street, no parking any time.

East Edison Avenue, on the south side, from Southeast Sixth Street to Southeast Ninth Street, no parking any time.

East Edison Avenue, on the north side, from Southeast Sixth Street to a point 70 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

East Edison Avenue, on the south side, from Southeast Fourteenth Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

East Edison Avenue, on the north side, from Southeast Fourteenth Street to Southeast Sixteenth Street, no parking any time.

Sec. 114-3338. Indiana Avenue‑‑Michigan Street to Ninth Street.

South Union Street, on the west side, from Edison Avenue to a point 160 feet south thereof, school passenger loading and unloading 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. school days.

South Union Street, on the west side, from a point 160 feet south of Edison Avenue to Columbus Avenue, bus loading and unloading 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. school days.

South Union Street, on the west side, from Columbus Avenue to Indianola Road, no parking 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. school days.

South Union Street, on the east side, from Livingston Avenue to Indianola Road, no parking any time.

South Union Street, on the east side, from Indianola Road to Hillside Avenue, no parking any time.

South Union Street, on both sides, from Hartford Avenue to Park Avenue, no parking any time.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
