ORDINANCE NO. 14,497
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the
City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, by rezoning and changing the district
classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 4615 N.E. Hubbell
Avenue from the "A-1" Agricultural District it automatically received
upon its recent annexation into the City, to the "PUD" Planned Unit
Development District classification.

It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1.
That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth
in Section 134-277 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000,
be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district
classification of certain property located in the vicinity of 4615 N.E. Hubbell
Avenue, more fully described as follows:
Part of the West Half of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 79 North, Range 23 West of the 5th
P.M., Polk County, Iowa, including Lots 1, 2, 3, 35, 36, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50,
and the East 200 feet of Lot 37 in Glenn Acres, an Official Plat, all being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing as a point of
reference at the West Quarter corner of said Section 22; thence North 00°06’28”
East, 66.00 feet along the West line of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 22 to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing North 00°06’28”
East, 722.90 feet along the West line of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 22; thence South 89°47’00” East, 858.20 feet; thence North
00°08’21” West, 533.80 feet; thence North 89°46’58” West, 430.90 feet; thence

Quarter of said Section 22 to a point 66.00 feet North of the Southeast corner

and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.

Sec. 2. This
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the later of its
passage and publication as provided by law.
Sec. 3. That the
City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of the
vicinity map, this ordinance, and proof of publication of this ordinance to be
properly filed in the office of the Polk County Recorder.
