AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,994 passed September 10, 2001, and Ordinance No. 14,121 passed July 16, 2002, and Ordinance No. 14,280 passed October 20, 2003, and Ordinance No. 14,330 passed April 5, 2004, and Ordinance No. 14,336 passed April 19, 2004, and Ordinance No. 14,354 passed July 12, 2004, and Ordinance No. 14,550 passed March 20, 2006, and Ordinance No. 14,653 passed May 21, 2007 by amending Sections 114-2641, 114-2774, 114-3256, 114-3258, 114-3259, 114-3881, 114-4003, 114-4014 and 114-4015 and adding and enacting a new Section 114-4002.01 thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,994 passed September 10, 2001, and Ordinance No. 14,121 passed July 16, 2002, and Ordinance No. 14,280 passed October 20, 2003, and Ordinance No. 14,330 passed April 5, 2004, and Ordinance No. 14,336 passed April 19, 2004, and Ordinance No. 14,354 passed July 12, 2004, and Ordinance No. 14,550 passed March 20, 2006, and Ordinance No. 14,653 passed May 21, 2007 is hereby amended by amending Sections Sections 114-2641, 114-2774, 114-3256, 114-3258, 114-3259, 114-3881, 114-4003, 114-4014 and 114-4015 and adding and enacting a new Section 114-4002.01 thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations, as follows:
