ORDINANCE NO. 14,705

 

 

AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 14,686 passed August 20, 2007, and titled, "AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 14,447, passed May 23, 2005 by amending Sections 26-120, 26-121, 26-122 and 26-123 thereof, relating to licensing and appeals board."

 

 

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14,685 and Ordinance No. 14,686, both passed on August 20, 2007, made conflicting amendments to the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines;  and,

 

WHEREAS, all the intended amendments were included in Ordinance No. 14,685.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, as follows:

 

Section 1.  That Ordinance No. 14,686 passed August 20, 2007, and titled, "AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 14,447 passed May 23, 2005, by amending Sections 26-120, 26-121, 26-122 and 26-123 thereof, relating to licensing and appeals board," is hereby repealed.

 

Sec. 2.  Ordinance N. 14,685 passed August 20, 2007, is hereby ratified and affirmed as the controlling legislation.

 

Sec. 3.  This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
