ORDINANCE NO. 14,793        

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 14,518 passed December 5, 2005, and Ordinance No. 14,542 passed February 6, 2006 by amending Section 114-3624 and adding and enacting a new Section 114-2804.5 thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

     Section 1.  That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, and amended by Ordinance No. 14,518 passed December 5, 2005, and Ordinance No. 14,542 passed February 6, 2006 is hereby amended by amending Section 114-3624 and adding and enacting a new Section 114-2804.5 thereof, relating to traffic and vehicle regulations, as follows: 

Sec. 114-2804.5.  Southeast Twenty-first Street—Maury Street to dead end south of Maury Street. 

     Southeast Twenty-first Street, on the east side, from Maury Street to a point 525 feet south thereof, no parking any time. 

Sec. 114-3624. School Street‑ ‑Second Avenue to Fortieth Place.

     School Street, on the south side, from Second Avenue to a point 80 feet west of Sixth Avenue, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the south side, from a point 130 feet west of Sixth Avenue to a point 105 feet west of Seventh Street, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the north side, from Second Avenue to a point 105 feet west of Seventh Street, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the south side, from Eighth Street to a point 75 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the north side, from Eighth Street to Twelfth Street, no parking any time. 

     School Street, on the south side, from Ninth Street to a point 60 feet west thereof, no parking any time. 

     School Street, on the south side, from Twelfth Street to a point 405 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the north side, from Twelfth Street to Twelfth Place, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the south side, from Fifteenth Street to a point 600 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the north side, from Oakridge Drive to Eighteenth Street, no parking any time.

     School Street, on both sides, from Eighteenth Street to Martin Luther King Jr Parkway, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the north side, from a point 100 feet east of Twenty-fourth Street to Thirty-first Street, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the south side, from Thirty-first Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the south side, from Thirty-first Street to Thirty-fifth Street, no parking any time.

     School Street, on the south side, from Thirty-seventh Street to Fortieth Place, no parking any time.

Sec. 2.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
