    Friday, March 31st is the deadline to purchase pet licenses without the $50 late fee. Applications postmarked before the 31st will avoid the late fee.

    Volunteers are needed for Iowa's largest Earth Day cleanup event on Friday, April 21. Last year, we had 1565 volunteers remove over 40,000 pounds of litter, brush, tires and recyclables while beautifying our public lands, cleaning up our waterways, clearing away invasive species, creating new trails and more.   • Mayor's Annual Ride and Run

    This annual fundraiser benefitting the trail system, starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 15 with the 5k Walk/Fun Run, followed by a 25-mile recreational Bike Ride. Register prior to April 15 for just $30 or pay $40 the day of the event at the Richard A. Clark Municipal Center. For an additional $5, participants can enter both events. Children 5-18 are $5.
